TLC Animal Rescue found sweet, Cinnamon, a 4 month old lab/pit puppy when a friend of the rescue found her listed on Craigslist. Cinnamon was kept in a city apartment where she had been tied up in a hallway without being able to enter the living area. Since she wasn't being cared for properly, Cinnamon found herself having to eat whatever she could find and unfortunately some of that made her very sick. With some extra TLC from Verona/Montclair Animal Hospital and Dr. Scriff as well as a balanced diet, Cinnamon has made a full recovery.
Now, happy and loved, in her foster home, Cinnamon is feeling SO much better and is living the way a puppy should! Lots of walks and time to run outside, playtime with her foster fur-siblings (7 other dogs) and unlimited cuddles with her human foster family. Cinnamon is very obedient and wants to please. She loves attention and shows you by wiggling her entire body!
Cinnamon is excellent with children of all ages. She loves the company of other dogs but the puppy in her can be a little overwhelming for some small breeds. She is very smart and is doing great with training and has learned basic commands. This little love bug is going to make her forever family extremely happy

The general adoption process is as follows:
Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
