Meet Daryl! He is super goofy, very food motivated, loves “tubby time” and will keep you laughing throughout all of your days. We pulled Daryl from the shelter right before Christmas, where he had been for 4 months after coming in as a stray. He is super friendly, has a ton of love to give and always wants to be in your lap. Daryl is crate trained, potty trained and quiet in the household. Like all adult dogs in a strange new place, surrounded by new people, Daryl needs a solid few days to decompress before relaxing in a new home environment. Daryl requires a family that understands that, gives him that time and allows for him to get comfortable and know that he is safe, before throwing him into everyday life. He is a sensitive boy who just needs a family to move slow with him during his new beginning. We promise you that once given that opportunity, the fun, confident and hilarious Daryl will shine!
Daryl is very dog friendly, so much so that he was used to dog test the new dogs that came into the shelter and currently lives with 3 other pit bulls. He is super playful with other dogs and would do best with another young, playful pup if going to a home with other dogs. This boy has been nothing short of an awesome house guest while in TLCAR's care and would make a great addition to any household. Located in Cape May Court House, NJ.

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
