Meet Emmy! Emmy was found as a stray & despite being chipped & the shelter reaching out to the owners, she was never reclaimed Emmy is thought to be around 4-5 years old & a possible pit/boxer mix?! We’re working on crate training, but she does know some basic commands! She is super non reactive & very polite to all dogs she meets (we’re hoping to see a playful side once she comes out of her shell more, but either way, very dog friendly!). She is a SUPER sweet girl who is extremely docile & just wants to be in your lap at all times, yet has been a great jogging buddy for foster mom! Emmy is spayed, chipped & UTD on shots. Now she is just waiting for her perfect forever fam to come along Located in Cape May Court House, NJ

The general adoption process is as follows:
Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
We look forward to receiving your application.
