Orchid was brought into Gloucester County animal shelter in early April as a stray. She continued to wait for her forever home but that never happened for her so Tlc ended up pulling her to try to help her find it! Orchid did GREAT meeting a very calm dog nose to nose before she left the shelter! Orchid is super sweet and adorable, weighing in at only around 6 pounds this little love is certainly a big ball of personality. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
