Everyone, meet Gobbler This middle aged fellow politely asked one of our foster families if he could crash at their place for a couple weeks to overcome a kitty cold and honestly he just wasn't really too fond of the shelter life. He even offered to put himself in the carrier to make it easy on them, so at that point, how could we say no? He is about 4 years old. Was brought into a local shelter by animal control as an owner surrender. Currently being treated for URI. So far is super sweet to everyone he meets and so handsome He is microchipped, Felv/FIV negative, and up to date on all shots including his rabies vaccine. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
