Callie has joined our cattery to find her forever home! Callie the Calico is a sweet little kitty looking for her person who will take her home and will help her forget the hardships she’s endured. Callie was found in Philadelphia in August, wondering the streets with so much sadness in her eyes, meowing to people passing by her. She was very thin, with her normally white fur looking gray from living on the street. A Good Samaritan started feeding her and allowed her to sleep on her porch before we brought her in to help her find her happily ever after. Callie is very social and enjoys spending time with people, cuddling, and being pet. She is a laid back kitty who allows being picked up and carried. Callie has been spayed, is FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated against rabies and treated for fleas. She’s waiting for the person who will let her into their home and give her all the love and cuddles she’s been waiting for! All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
