Capone who is a 1 yr old mastiff mix is a delight, he's very treat motivated and eager to learn. He's just a goofy boy who needs a work out with either a good walk or play session in the yard, but then is SO good at laying around the housing keeping himself occupied with his toys! He is great with my Rottie, pit bull, 3 cats, and my 16 month old son! He is so gentle with the baby. Crate training is still is progress but he definitely getting there and used to it. Capone has been out in the house while I took a nap with my son and he was a very good boy! He is then crated during work hours or at night. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
