Luna was born May 16, 2015. Luna is a 9 month old, spunky little terrier mix and at about 20 lbs she is pretty much at her permanent weight. She is very good with dogs of all sizes, children of all ages, and leaves the kitties alone! She is currently in a foster home with 2 large breed dogs, 3 cats and a 9 month old baby. Luna is a family surrender of an elderly woman who needed to give her up in order to take care of her disabled grandchild. There Luna was living with 2 pomeranians, 6 cats and a 12 year old. She is 100% crate trained and on a great potty schedule at her foster home. She absolutely loves her stuffed animal toys and a good game of fetch. All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
