Mistletoe is about a year old and sweet as pie! She was found as a stray who had been hit by a car. Sadly, her owner never showed up After being fixed up by a local vet, she has been waiting in boarding for a rescue or forever home. The staff had wonderful things to say about her! She is a lover cuddle bug who loves everyone she meets. She is petite little girl about 40 lbs. She is currently on crate rest for fractured ribs but will be ready to go home very soon!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Affectionate, Eager To Please

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
