Blinks is a 4 month old adorable and sweet little boy who had a rough start in life born outside in a barn. His Mom Libby tried to care for him and his brothers the best she could until she was found by one of our rescue members and brought to a foster home. Poor Blinks had severe eye issues from conjunctivitis and could not see. His foster mom took great care of him and took him for a few vet exams. After a month of treatment and eye surgery, he now has 100% vision again! He is gaining weight right now and will be available for adoption shortly. Blinks is fully vetted. Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Good with Adults

All animals adopted from us will be spayed or neutered, dewormed for parasites, current with vaccines for their age and microchipped. Dogs will have tested negative for heartworms and given monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention. Cats will have tested negative for FELV OR FIV and given Revolution monthly

 

The general adoption process is as follows:

Once we receive your application, the TLC Animal Rescue Board of Directors will review it to see if the animal you are interested in may be compatible with your family.
Once your application has been screened, we will arrange a meet and greet with you and your family members (including pets) and the animal you are interested in.
During this time, one of our adoption coordinators will be contacting your references and your veterinarian to verify if your pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines.  If the meet and greet was successful, and any other potential adopters have been ruled out, we will schedule a home check and move ahead with the adoption.
